SEWELL GROUP CRAVEN PARK REGENERATION

We are pleased to invite you to have your say on the proposals for the regeneration of land surrounding the Sewell Group Craven Park Stadium.

The plans would contribute significantly to the wider rejuvenation efforts ongoing across East Hull by Hull City Council and aim to bring direct benefit to local communities.

Set to enhance the area with new community facilities and amenities, our proposals aim to transform the area with new sports and leisure facilities, large-scale retail outlets and commercial units – with green spaces interwoven throughout – as an investment into health and wellbeing for local people, while future-proofing the Club’s ambitions of growth.

The club’s vision is supported by its three key pillars:

  • Inclusivity: To bring all areas of the community together, provide better opportunities for local people, and reduce health inequalities across the city.
  • Health and Wellbeing: To improve health and wellbeing across the city and providing the right infrastructure to support this.
  • Amenity: To deliver essential amenities for community use, including public green spaces, retail outlets and commercial units – all of which will enhance the fan experience on matchdays.

The Club, and its wider masterplan team, invite the community to view the proposals and speak directly with them at an upcoming public drop-in event, which will be held at the Waudby Centreon Thursday 20 March from 2pm -7pm.

Responses are being encouraged by Friday 28 March at the latest, which is when the consultation will close.
